What do I charge to fix and or diagnose a computer problem?  Good question.  Ordinarily- nothing.  I have a difficult time assessing a price on helping a friend or family member.  However.........most realize that it takes a lot of time to do this and kindly offer to compensate me for that time.  So, when pressed to name a price,  I have come up with the perfect solution.  $40 bucks.  Cash, check or money order.  You may pay more if you desire, but $40 will do.  Don't make it out to me though.  Make it out to:

You need not mail it- I can do that.  You get your computer repaired/diagnosed (usually for well under what Geek Squad or another repair shop would charge), this charity gets much needed funds and we all feel great about it.  Heck- you even get the tax write off!  What a super deal.   If you truly do not have the funds- no worries.  I will still help you.

So there you have it.  If I take your computer I will do my best to get it back to working condition.  If I can't- I will tell you.
