I enjoy web design very much. I am getting better and better at it. However, at this time I am not looking to build websites for pay. That said- I will help get you to some one who can build a website for you. Below is a list of those individuals that I believe can deliver a quality product for your business or group.
- NewMedia3.com - Ryan Hudson Peralta and Co. Simply amazing. Want to know a little more about the man and character of the person you are going to hire to do your web site- click here. Then click on the link to NewMedia3.com and have a look at their portfolio. You won't be disappointed.
- iKreator.com - Neal Chester is a local web designer. Go to his site and I am sure you will be impressed with his site and those that he has created for his clients. I like his philosphy as well as his approach to web design.
- FoundryDesigns.com - Look at their portfolio - it speaks for itself. Additionally look at their own site and the ease of navigation it has.
Those are the three at the top of my list right now. What kind of pricing can you expect? A simple site for a club can run a few hundred dollars while a e-commerce site can range in the couple thousand dollar area. If it is something that you need the developer to update often, then count on some added expense. Usually they charge around $25 an hour for updates. Some have an annual fee for maintenance. For a ball park figure you can expect to usually pay no less than $500 for a good (but small) business site. Monthly hosting should not cost more than $9/month.
I hope that helps. If you have problems with either of these please let me know.
Cheers-
Keith
